ADOS for girls?

I had selective mutism as a child and it was taken as being supportive of an autism diagnosis - I was diagnosed as an adult. If the assessors are competent they will make allowances for anxiety, as about 90% of autistic people report problematic levels of anxiety. Inability to do sections of the assessment should not affect the outcome unduly as at your daughter's age a lot of the assessment is observational.

Thank you.  The tasks she struggled with were making up and telling a story with items and she told me it was because with what she had, she couldn't make a story if that make sense.  The other task was telling and showing the lady how to brush her teeth but I'm guessing she didn't like talking much so didn't do this either.

I think not being able to complete those particular tasks would be supportive of an autism diagnosis, rather than the opposite.
