Mimicking

Do any of the other women here mimic the women you know and see. This is a problem I've had for years, it started at school and I still do it now. I mimic other women I suppose because I see them happy and laughing with friends or with their husband and feel like if I can be like them all that will happen for me as well. 

I try to mimic their look - walk - style - in every way to be honest. 

I desperately want a =normal= life but my life is far from normal. I've lost my voice and no guy pays me any attention but my sisters all are married and have kids.

  • I have always mimicked. Opinions, comments, hobbies, likes and interests.. basically anything. If im around someone for long enough im sure to have picked something up.

    So much so, that a colleague handed in their notice, and within the next week, I handed mine in too!! After realising this was not ME and that I had mimicked, I have now got to re tract my notice. 

    Mimicking is something i struggle with alot.
