Sensory breaks....advice needed

My son needs to have regular sensory breaks in school, he is 6 and I'm just wondering how many breaks should he be having and how often does he need them? He is currently on a part time timetable and we are doing a full day tomorrow when I asked his teacher she said he is constantly getting a break as he is not doing lessons just sat at workstation. I understand thcan be classed as a break but to me he will still need to have those sensory breaks and also breaks where its full body e.g. Going outside and doing an outdoor activity. I'm new to all this so really not sure where to begin, any help would be greatly appreciated.

 •
sorry he goes out with just a teacher and does something and I know he can't stand noise and transitions gets very anxious and starts biting once children in the class are moving, at home my son will go to his room and watch his console to calm but they haven't got that in school. I am just not too sure if even tho he is not doing work should he still be having the sensory breaks, I'm sure he must or he wouldn't be having meltdowns still in school surely. Sorry still learning we only had the diagnosis last week
