I hope someone can advise me.
I have a newly diagnosed sixteen year old boy with aspergers.
He's in residential care and very settled.
We see him once a fortnight and it's great.
Problem is we have booked a big holiday which he will be very jealous of and it also means missing a visit.
He's a creature of routine, rather unsurprisingly.
How far in advance do I deliver the news bearing in mind after I have told him I then have to leave him.....
