My child is in mainstream school and currently receives 22 hours a week 121,this has been on the statement for the last 5 years of their schooling.The school has had lots of changes heads,teachers and the class my child in has had no stability since september and in this time we were asked to come in and were verbally told that our child would no longer be having their 121 in the afternoons,there would be another lady to help them instead,while said 121 is off in other classes.But since this has happend there has only been a teacher in the class and the person we were told would be in there to help our child is the only other adult in there as no T.A so are they using our childs funding to fund the class T.A?.Weve had loads of issues over previous years hence me being cautious.I have read through the statement of sen needs and it clearly stipulates 22 hours 121(i know they arent going to be just with child or in childs pocket) and we had a breakdown last spring 2016 of where the hours were going and it said 1 hour every afternoon 121 apart from one day a week,so they have taken this away and not told us,any idea is this is right or the done thing now?
