DS/ Diagnosed high functioning Autisum

My DS excluded from the school so many times and at last we found out he is diagnosed with High functioning Autisum. Can anyone let me know whether the school can exclude him permanantly even though he diagnosed. His EHC is processing right now and we were informed that it takes up to 22 weeks.

He is good in his studies but his behaviour causes him problems to carry his studies right now.

Thanks

  • Hi

Thank you vey much. It seems this school is not handling this case well and now they need to get rid of him I guess.

Do you know whether the school can exclude him permnantly even though he has diagnosed HFA.

    Kind regards

  • I had very bad anger issues growing up, and I saw the world a little different, other kids would do things behind the teachers back and I'd demmand something be done and the teacher of course wouldn't have proof and I'd actively get revenge in front of the teacher as my own skewed verion of justice, I got expelled three times, and suspended so many I can't remember, I had a great special needs teacher and my parents went to the school board each of the times to appeal the decision and won each time, so I think your best bet will be to fight the decision and go through the channels.
