Just new to this forum. We live in Scotland and my boy is due to start Primary 1 in August. The main element of his Asd is a severe speech delay which is effecting his social behaviour and overall learning. the school nursery have suggested a communication in a main stream school or special school, we have applied for communication unit but fear lack of spaces and are worried we will get pushed down the special school route, which we don't want. Anyone else been here? Any thoughts, recommendations or help would be welcome xx
