Hi.

My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed as high functioning ASD last week.where do I star,what do I do no?can I get her medication to help with sleeplessnes, self harming and panic attack. I have been told no by CAMHS but NHS website says it may be possible.does anybody have experience?

  • My daughter is 16, she has also been recently diagnosed and has experienced some of what you have mentioned your daughter experiences. Sleeplessness, self-harming. Cahms actually put my daughter on medication and it has helped somewhat. So I guess the answer is different depending on your case and the service provider in cahms that you use
