Hello, i am a parent and my child is diagonised as having autisim. My story is been painful on the journey so far. We have tried to regularize our stay over here in the united kingdom due to our childs medical condition, The council where we live has been very supportive and understanding of our struggles. Its been two years we have battled with the Home office in respect of trying to regularize our immigration probelms. We are on the verge of been sent back to our country and we are worried that the services our child enjoys since he was diagonised as been autistic is noting compared to whats available back home in nigeria. Please we need all the support we can get

  • Hi, i understand that you are in an aweful predicamant. Children with Autism no matter where they are on the spectrum need routine, and sameness. Children on the spectrum will need ongoing support no matter where they are on it. Have you tried going back to the see the specialist at the child devlopement center where your child was diagnosed to write a letter to confirm this so you can send it to the home office. And also a letter from your doctor too.
