hi all this is my first post here and if I've posted in the wrong place please let me know.
ALittle about me and my son , my son is 11 years old and after a few years of suspecting he had a ASD he was officially diagnosed today . This all still very new to me and him but the terms used to describe him have been Asperger or high functioning depending on who we are speaking to is there a difference between the two ? Or are the two ways of describing the same diagnosis ? .
Although we were expecting the diagnosis it has still knocked me down although my son seems to have taken it in his stride and said well we knew it was coming here's all the research I have done it (so proud of my boy love him to pieces ) .
anyway I am looking for any and all advice that could help us , is there any books websites etc that you have found helpful
