Okay my son is 9 in year 5.
He has diagnosis of autism, he now has an EHCP.
The issue is he hasn't been ccoping in main stream for a long time. Hes been out of school since march this year. Amd only doing a few half hour sessions with myself and the senco. In a seperate room on our own.
In the LA meeting I reauested he go to the local autism specialist school the agreed to consult this was before summer break.
I applied for the EHCP in november last year! (This has gone on to long)
Ive had a tac meeting today and been advised that there is no spaces and they cannot confirm at present if he is even on the waiting list.
He is aware if his autism knows his difficulties and the gap between his peers. He is ready to get on at the special school full time and get back to his education but in the right environment for him.
Im at my wits end what I can do now!!!
