Hello, first time posting please be kind
Thank you so much for replies, they have made me feel at least my not the only one making holes in my living room carpet pacing back and forth. I to have went through ever awful situation happening while she is at school and I'm not there! We have support in place until the October break and I am praying this is extended! The lady is fantastic with my daughter and so far we have had no meltdowns about going into school which were frequent in nursery!
Yep we get it ;-) I remember my daughter starting school & I was at home / work pacing & imagining a billion possible situations that may be happening ;-)
She'll now start year 6 (mainstream) in Sept & with great support she's doing ok, but I will still find myself terribly distracted come 5th September !! hang on in there. I find we constantly have the rollercoaster of ups & downs (a down the last few weeks eeek) but the ups are great.
Hi Oresteia,
Yes my daughter is 5. She is in a mainstream school, she attended nursery at this school so are hoping this school works out. She started on Tuesday and I'm doing a fantastic job of sitting at home worrying about her until pick up time! I thought I'd post here as I wanted an opinion from people who "get it"
Hello there 1st time post,
I used to post a while back but haven't been on for AGES so I'm sort of a newbie too. How old is your daughter I'm guessing 4 /5 if she's just started ? Has she gone to mainstream or a special provision ?
Best wishes with it all hope she has a good week.
