To start with I just wanted to know if there was anyone in the same position?
Even better, if anyone knows of support available specifically for people in this position.
I can't seem to find anything out there and am feeling very alone.
Thanks

Hi and welcome,
Yes, you are not alone in this situation. There is a current thread running community.autism.org.uk/.../arguments where an NT adult has obviously suffered in their upbringing by an autistic parent. A number of contributors to the forum are NT relatives of people with autism and you are welcome to join in. You might also benefit from discussing issues with adults like me who have a diagnosis - I do try and look at things from both sides.
I don't think that there is specific support although you can join a local NAS group where you might meet a mixture of NT and autistic people trying to deal with the issues that arise. If you are having issues then you can contact your GP or your local social services etc etc. What sort of support do you think you might benefit from?
