Hi everyone!.....this is my first time doing this!....I'm a mum of 3 teenagers, one which is autistic,just wanted to say hi and hopefully not feel so alone

    Autism is a very hard thing to understand even for people like me that have been diagnosed for a while. The forum is good though as there are lots of parents and adults with the condition who can point you at different resources or give advice.

    If you are feeling lonely then one possible factor in that might be that you might be on the spectrum too. It is also possible that being a single mum has taken you out of all of the social circles that you used to belong to. I'm just speculating but, in both cases, there is no need to suffer alone - talk to us here and you will find that there are people who really do understand what you are ghoing through.
