Need advise on proposed statement

Hi, Iam very new to this site and i am looking for some advice. I have a 4 year old girl who has ASD, her proposed statement has come through today and i am being encouraged to name a mainstream school which is something i really dont want to do as i only want her to go to specialist provision. Anyone else had this problem that can advise? Is it possible to have the final statement written with no named school?

im finding this at the moment...have you contacted the parent partnership for your area? if not do so now as they have all the information on rights in the statementing process and they can assist you in the formfilling and reviews etc. also look at the IPSEA website too they can do a similar thing. do get intouch with support for this process as you can be railroaded into something you are not comfortable with and if it goes to appeal you will need help too xxx good luck, you know your child best xx

Within the proposed statement, should have been included, a full list of all specialist/specialised ASD schools in England. If it hasn't been included, ring the number on the front of the letter that came with your proposed statement and ask or rather tell them to send it you.
Your daughters school is your choice and you're free to go against an opinion you don't agree with. Put down the school you feel is best for your daughter. It's your right to do so!
