We have a 12 year old son,who can not cope in a main stream school.
we have been looking for a special school for him, but are finding it very hard looking.
Our problem is due to living on an island we cant just go and visit in one day.
we have looked on the web(there are so many to choose from)and when we ask the authoritys for advise they say they are not allowed to tell us, that we have to choose.
He has not had a full-time education for the past 3 years and on going to secondry school he has been bullied,phone stolen from him,called names,this has caused a lot of stress and upset.
I feel he deserves better and want him to go to a speciel school where he will be happy,
