Hi, I've only just joined so sorry if I posted in wrong place.
I need to fill in some DLA forms for my 3 year old son, his first appointment isn't even until March so I have nothing to send with the forms, I'm struggling with how to explain how he needs more care than your average 3 year old, he does, and I probably get about 4-6 hours sleep a night. And he needs watching constantly but I assume most 3 year olds would?
I have no one to compare him with, and no other children.
His nursery referred him, I've had these feelings for 2 years though and asked for them to do their version of an assessment which they didn't at first as didn't see anything in him, then he changed rooms and they called me in and asked if they could do it, and they're 99% he will be diagnosed.
Is there anywhere I can go for help filling in the forms?
Would rather not have to make an appointment, my nearest CAB is 3 miles away but in a different borough and so my one is in the city centre and I'll never get there on time to get a drop in appointment.
