Our son is in school in Berkshire, and it's a terrific place for him – a purpose-built facility with small classes, 2 kids to every teacher/assistant, lots of speech therapy, music, etc., and it's local government-run (i.e. free!). But we're thinking of moving because we like other parts of the country more than the Home Counties (e.g. Bristol, Devon, Manchester, Cheshire, Yorkshire, Cumbria...). Trouble is, we really don't want to walk away from his school – unless we can find another really good one somewhere else. Does anyone have a way of finding out which are the best state primary schools for ASD kids (he's 5) around the country? Or should I just poll parents here and see who's happiest with what they've got?
Thanks for your suggestions!
