Hello everyone my brain is dead trying to decide such things. Should I send my daughter to a school where all her current (horrible) classmates will go so at least she will be with familiar faces and one friend, or should I send her to a school where she doesn't know a soul? The school where she would know her classmates would suit her academically but i have heard horror stories about how the school doesn't understand special needs. The second school is not so academic but is caring and small, and I'm told the children who go there are "rough". My daughter has had problems with being bullied and has up and down problems with anxiety. She does not really have a clue socially. HELP! I have 1 more week to decide. She doesn't have an EHC plan because she is too high functioning.
