Hi. Wondering if anyone can help please. My son recently started a nursery - which I have heard good reviews about. However, after a very short while of attending there, it appears they expect (has an ASD diagnosis) to comply with all their rules and if he doesn't he gets time out! I personally don't agree with time out and my son just doesn't understand and it doesn't solve anything. He is forced to join in action songs - the teacher physically lifts his arms up etc - which he doesn't like and the list is long already - after just a few days attendance. I have had discussions with them but they seem more set on their rules and time out than actually helping my son properly. I'm not sure what to do now so any advice would be very much appreciated please.
