Anyone caring for an autistic adult (Aspie) in Teignmouth or around?

Hi,

We're moving to Teignmouth soon - no date yet, but house sale and purchase is proceeding, so probably in the next two months.

My 34 year old son is in receipt of 11 hours care per week from our current Borough in London and we need to transfer that support package to Devon - can anyone recommend an organisation to supply support worker(s) for him?  I've heard of Positive Aspects - does anyone know if they are active in Teignmouth? Are there any other providers?

His support needs are all around independent living - our move is being made with the intention to help him establish a home of his own in a separate flat attached to our house.  He will need support to find his way around the new area and to organise himself to take responsibility for his flat, keeping it clean and tidy, doing his meal planning, shopping, cooking and clearing up after himself etc. He tends to self-isolation so it will be important for him to have a support worker who can encourage him to get out and about and possibly find things to do locally and maybe even social contact, though he does struggle with that.

I'd be grateful for any local information anyone has - experience with support organisations etc. before making contact with them myself.

Thanks for any help.
