First time on here. My 5 year old son has always been speacil in our eyes and he has reccently without doubt been diagnosed with a Autism. I am learning all about it but am not very educated as such yet...
We have been a bit concerned about his concentration in busy places and by the road (have thrown myself at him more than a few times to save him from the road, probably he would 80% of the time not have gone in the road, but I worry)
Myself and my wife are early 30's parents, I drive and we live in East London. We wondered what we might be entitled to. We do not care about montary benifits as we both work. But things like a disabled badge (compaion badge) are we entitled to that? or could we apply. It's something I only ever thought when we took him to the shop the other day and became concerned during a tantrum he had.
