I was unlucky my son was born in Switzerland.
At the age of 3 y.o. he was finally diagnosed with autism. I knew he was sort of different from the early age, but the pediatrician insisted to check if my son has brain tumor or/ and hydrocephalus. He wanted so much to explain all the symptoms by finding smth organic rather than thinking about autism.
Obviously. Switzerland is in the middle age time regarding autism. They can not diagnose. they do not understand how to teach the kids with autism. The health care professionals say that ABA is for dogs.
The insurance is paying for OT and logopedist 1 hour per week. The waiting list for the ABA therapist is 2 years and ABA is not covered by the insurance.
We are considering an option to move away from CH somewhere else where my son will have a future.
He is 3,5. French by citisenship, iQ is 89, non verbal, Understands English, Russian and a little bit of French. Has significant playful skills.
Can you give me an input about if we decide to move to GB.
I desperately dont want him to be locked somewhere in a swiss institute for the rest of his life,
