in need of help

Hello all

I may of mentioned this b4 but I cannot remember. Our seven year old daughter has sensory processing disorder and mild autism. I currently do for her what ever she struggles with n if she wants to try it herself then we give her lots of praise but I worry that I'm not allowing her to be independent. One of my biggest concerns is that she needs me to stay with her until she is asleep which I don't mind as I can then tell what time she is eventually settling but should I leave her too it?

Also when she has an injury she will worry about for ages afterwards even if we try playing it down. I comfort her if she is upset but I worry that pandering to her maybe making her act on it more.

I keep being toldthat she a seven year old girl too n will act up but others say that most behaviours are a signal for something

Thanks in advance xxx
