good private school

My 14 year old son is quite clever and attends a local grammar school in Birmingham. However he now dislikes his current school as he has been bullied and we now want to put him in a specialist boarding school. Can anyone suggest a good academic boarding school which caters for children with ASD?

I sit corrected! A quick google search for "autism ofsted boarding" gives the following NAS run school as an example

I continue to be told about stuff that I didn't know that I didn't know about!

There are schools which cater purely for autistic children with charitable status + who also offer boarding. Some of these schools were set up many years ago by parents of autistic children who realised mainstream wasn't necessarily the best place for their kids. Perhaps looking at Ofsted + Care Quality Commission Inspection Reports may point you in the right direction

I would be very surprised if such an institution exists. I can only speak for myself but I wouldn't send my own kids to boarding school - bullying would be be one reason as institutions like that are renowned for being places where bullying is rife.
