New to home schooling

Hi,  my son (8) has only just been diagnosed with asperger's.  We decided to home school him before we found this diagnosis out and have just started.  We live in East Ayrshire and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there in East Ayrshire who would be interested in meeting up? Or if there is any advice folks could give me on home schooling an autistic child.  Thanks!

    Have noticed a few comments about the East Ayrshire branch. Just to let folks know that it is up and running again - had to take a bit of a break as family issues/health problems became overpowering. I don't know if everyone realises that we are volunteers and run the groups along side supporting our family members who have autism.

    The issues that affect other families affected by autism also affect us! So, if anyone is looking for support/branch meetings then contact me through the branch  phone number or by email.
