New to home schooling

Hi,  my son (8) has only just been diagnosed with asperger's.  We decided to home school him before we found this diagnosis out and have just started.  We live in East Ayrshire and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there in East Ayrshire who would be interested in meeting up? Or if there is any advice folks could give me on home schooling an autistic child.  Thanks!

    agin sorry forgot to answer you question about jets, Yes my son went there years ago it realy helped him he can now swim enough that i feel ok letting him into the pool with his siblings with out me there. Of course it helps that he is tall so can reach the bottom everywhere.
