New to home schooling

Hi,  my son (8) has only just been diagnosed with asperger's.  We decided to home school him before we found this diagnosis out and have just started.  We live in East Ayrshire and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there in East Ayrshire who would be interested in meeting up? Or if there is any advice folks could give me on home schooling an autistic child.  Thanks!

    Well im a bit disapointed, I phoned up about the Help! courses as they seemed realy interesting to be told that they are not available in scotland. On a slightly more positive note I got a reply from our local branch about the support group saying she would let me know when the next meeting was available and check her emailing list to see if i was on it. However I have been told this before so will keep fingers crossed that I do get a date for the meeting soon.
