New to home schooling

Hi,  my son (8) has only just been diagnosed with asperger's.  We decided to home school him before we found this diagnosis out and have just started.  We live in East Ayrshire and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there in East Ayrshire who would be interested in meeting up? Or if there is any advice folks could give me on home schooling an autistic child.  Thanks!

    Thanks for the info, I have emiled my local branch again this morning to see if I can get more details of any meetings coming up. I totaly understand the policies and protection in place on the site and do think its a good thing. Can I post details of the next meeting on here and then maybe cupcake could then come to that, I could where a flower in my hair LOL!!!!
