Hello everyone i am a 26 year old single mother to a 7 year old boy with severe autism and ADHD. I am getting increasingly annoyed at the lack of power behind my voice and the sheer ill treatment of my son. The more i speak to other parents/carers the more it becomes apparent that me and my son are far from alone. I have decided to write a letter to our government and i am trying to get as many opinions from the carers of disabled children as possible. Any issues from diagnosis, schooling, restbite, transporting your child from a to b, support etc. Anyone intrested in helping with this please contact me. Many thanks sarah xxx

    Just to let you know, we'd be fully behind people sharing their experiences around support, education - and perhaps also adults on the spectrum not just parents.

    However the Community has a policy that doesn't allow the sharing of contact details, so whilst people can discuss their situation here it won't be possible for people to get directly in touch with you.
