For those parents whom have children with diagnosis' when you have paediatrician appointments what happens at them?
So far we have only had 2 appointments since diagnosis last spring and both have been a complete waste of time. No action has been decided at the appointments and i havent even seen his paediatrcian - instead it was a junior.
Im really not sure what is the point. The last appointment resulted in my son becoming quite unsettled as i had to drag him out of school then take him back whilst he is tring to get used to full time school hrs. as far as i can see there was no reason for him to have been at that appointment. Im inclined not to take him to the next appointment if its going to have such a detremental impact on him. id rather he was in school anyway.
Im honestly a bit lost so any insight would be great x
