My son started secondary school sept. hes in ALN unit attached to mainstream school. We have had nothing but trouble since the first few days. He would run off, shout out, showed signs of anger etc.They even excluded him for 2 days in his 3rd week. His LSA is a waste of time, and as far as im concerned she just provokes him. things got really bad last week when he was left in a room with others from his form class, who were receiving a row off the form tutor for naughtyness in an english lesson. My son and another boy also with ASD have english with a 1-1, so were not in the classroom were this happened. The LSA took the other boy out and left my son there. he didnt know what to do love him, this teacher even called them 'rems'. He boiled all day at school and when he came home had a complete meltdown. Phoned nxt day to complain was assured tey would sort it. but instead when he came home there was another meltdown, after he calmed down he told me this teacher and his lsa had him in a classroom on his own and basiclly interagated him, trying to gethim to admit he'd lied, and repeating to him that he should come home and tell me he lied,I was livid, i kept him off school nxt day phoned them and they said they investigate. So far they say he's taken it wrong, and basically trying to brush it under carpet, HELP what to do next. I dont feel happy sending him somewhere that is supposed to be looking after him
