Online or in person assessment?

Star2Advice needed pleaseStar2 I have recently paid for my 11 yo son to have an autism assessment. This will involve a 1hr45 drive, overnight stay with relatives, day off school, being in a room with strangers whilst I answer questions in another room. All things he finds very anxiety inducing. I have been told the assessment is more accurate in person but IF I can get him there it will involve an enormous amount of stress. Alternatively there's the Teams version which will be much less stressful but still could involve him refusing to take part ( seems likely demand avoidant profile). Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance
