Help with diagnosis / understanding im not mad.

Hi Id like some advise. I have a 19 year old son, not diagnosed. What is your opinion? Growing up he was very sensory, noise, food smells, sometimes i felt like i would be walking on eggshells if he was coming down with a cold or anything like that. In year 8 he had what i would call total burnout at school and refused to go luckily for us Covid lockdown happened and months later he went back without an issue. He is very clever, funny and good to talk to. He has many friends. I feel he has fixations sometimes, he has lots of friends and is very level headed so when i explain i feel like he may be on spectrum i get laughed at almost like im over protective. Now, he has been working for a year, a really good job with a degree apprenticeship to start and driving and going out living his best life and he has just crashed as far as i can see, been off work with covid and annual leave but he just wont get up t go in now, i knew it before he was ill, but if i try n talk to him he puts his head under blankets. What i need t know are your views, do you think im right tat he may be on spectrum? He is not interested in diagnosis and hates it if i mention anything to do with it. So now i dont. Im worried about his futer, he could have gone to Uni but says he is fed up with lessons they are boring (he got a* grades) He has been sensible saving his money too but he may lose his job now. Tody if i try to talk to him he hides under covers so he doesn't have to face it
