NEED ADVISE

  1. My daughter is 13 year old. She is an autistic child and have selective Mutism but now she is experiencing significant difficulty of Autism Burn out.  She is not leaving her room at all. She is not coping with demands. She spend time alone. No personal care she is not eating or sleeping properly. Not going school. Doctors advise me give her some time but 4 month she is still same. I don't know how long its take time. I am trying to provide her calm and safe environment at home. I am not demanding anything from her just give space where she feel comfortable. Its very difficult to see a child in this condition.As a parent we are trying everything . I need advice how can I help and support my child to bring back in daily life  normal life. Please I am seeking for help . My whole family  is struggling.  We all miss her normal life. I appreciate you if anyone can help me.

    I am really sorry to read this. I agree with Alexa that I feel you should contact your GP again as there has not been any improvement. We have some advice pages on the website which may help you.
