This project is led by the University of Birmingham in collaboration with the National Autistic Society. BEAMS-ID aims to trial a therapy designed to reduce anxiety in adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities.
We are recruiting 9 advisory panel members to work with the research team to help with decision-making at different stages of the project. You must be:
- a family carer of an adult with moderate to severe learning disabilities (they may or may not be autistic also)
- living in the UK
As an advisory panel member, you will:
- share your views and feedback on the project
- discuss general progress as well as specific elements of the project
- review documents
Meetings will take place:
- 9 times during the course of the study (which will run for 5 years)
- 4 meetings will be in person, and 5 will be held online
You will be paid £70 per meeting.
