Researchers from Durham University’s Centre for Neurodiversity and Development are currently running a study examining the ways that new and existing online safety legislation will impact neurodivergent young people.
We are seeking neurodivergent young people (aged 12-16) to complete a short online survey about how they think new restrictions might impact them, and how this may be different to their impacts on neurotypical young people.
Surveys will take around 10-15 minutes each, and will give us a valuable picture of young people’s and their parents’ perceptions of this policy before it is put in place.

Participants can fill in the survey entirely anonymously if they wish, and young people are welcome to receive help to complete their survey (e.g., dictating their answers).
At the end of the survey, participants can choose to enter a prize draw to win a £10 online voucher, this will be drawn in December 2026.
