Any ideas what to do during holidays?

Hi ladies and gents,

As nursery breaks off tomorrow, I'm on my own for six weeks with a child who doesn't understand speech (so books and stories are out), has not much interest in toys, elopes if taken outside the enclosed area of a garden (runs faster than me, especially if I also have pushchair in tow), is up for mischief of all sorts (including pissing into dog's water bowl) if I turn around (or go to the bathroom) and expects being entertained at all times (if not - see the dog bowl remark).

No, really I don't have anyone to help, no family or (especially) friends, and, most importantly, no funds to pay for childcare as I am providing the majority of the childcare.

What activities could it be? Thanks in advance for ideas.

  • I have been to aquariums and seen children with special needs enjoying it and captivated by it. I have been to the Sea life in London and Horiman museum and seen this. Also, Horiman museum has got children's playground newly built. Hyde park has got a playground I believe to.

They like water jets a lot of children as well

A lot of children like waterfalls to which you can find in some parks.
