Hospitals discharge letter

My Son is nearly ten and was diagnosed as it says on his assessment report with ASC, this was at the age of six.

He has Epilepsy and all the letters from his Peadiatrician following reviews state he has Autism.  My Son had a seizure this week and spent the night in a hospital which is under a different health authority to the one he received his Autusm diagnosis at.  I informed them he had Autism so they could be aware. His discharge letter stated he has Pervasive Developmental Disorder should I correct this or accept it?

  • His discharge letter stated he has Pervasive Developmental Disorder should I correct this or accept it?

If he hasn't been diagnosed with this then if I were you I would be contacting the hospital to ask why they have put this on the letter.

This could avoid something that he hasn't been diagnosed with to appear on his medical record.
