Toothpaste

Hi there, any recommendations/ strategies to help my little one who is having sensory difficulty with mint toothpaste. At the moment we are still using the young strawberry toothpaste. I have bought ones with no flavour and a watermelon flavour but they cannot tolerate either.  As they get older, I will be running out of supermarket options suitable for their age. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks in advance.

  • This may sound a bit random but I've seen Colgate advertise a Harry Potter themed toothpaste that is bubblegum flavour. I've not tried it myself so I'm not sure what it is like but I know that bubblegum is often a popular flavour with little ones so might be worth a try. It's called bubbling cauldron flavour.

I struggled with mint toothpaste as a child too and only used a strawberry toothpaste for a long time. I've learnt to tolerate it as I have got older. I find spearmint easier to tolerate than normal mint.
