Harness

My 3 year old has been recently diagnosed as autistic and I've been wondering about getting him a harness for when we're outside walking. He's getting quite strong and has almost pulled me over multiple times while holding my hand and has recently started trying to let go of my hand whilst walking. Would now be a good time to consider a harness? If so which one would be best for him?

  • Not sure about the type of harness but my suggestion is one that is:

    comfortable for him to wear, even when he is pulling

    easy to get on and off so it's not a struggle every time, maybe make it a fun little game when doing it

    Maybe when you have decided what type take him with you and let him help pick the design/ colour to make it more his
