Harness

My 3 year old has been recently diagnosed as autistic and I've been wondering about getting him a harness for when we're outside walking. He's getting quite strong and has almost pulled me over multiple times while holding my hand and has recently started trying to let go of my hand whilst walking. Would now be a good time to consider a harness? If so which one would be best for him?

  • Some fancy US-only stuff might not ship here, but honestly? Most top picks are easy to grab in the UK right now. Argos, Amazon.co.uk, Boots—they stock 'em all, no customs hassle.

Here are three solid ones autistic folks rave about (from UK forums like NAS community and Reddit threads):

Sony WH-1000XM5 – Over-ear, killer noise cancel, super comfy padding. Folks say it's great for overload without feeling claustrophobic. Available at Argos or Amazon UK—around £300-350, but sales pop up.

Bose QuietComfort (latest model) – Soft earcups, excellent ANC, lightweight. Autistic adults like 'em for long wear—no pressure points. Boots or Amazon UK has 'em, £200-300 range.

Anker Soundcore Life Q20 – Budget winner, hybrid ANC, foldable, 40+ hours playtime. Loads of UK parents use 'em for kids/adults—cheap on Amazon.co.uk, under £60.

All ship fast, no US-only nonsense. If he's picky, start with Anker—easy return if it doesn't click.
