My little twins have just started school one is asd and one isnt .they are both in mainstream school and so far so good . there is another wee boy in the class who is adhd / autism too but he is agressive to the other children and is hitting them all the time . all the other parents know about my wee ones diagnosis and are quite supportive but my son has never been violent to his peers although has been to other strangers numerous times . I really feel for his other parent as they are all talking about her and complaining to the teacher ..i have explained to my boys that he has the same condition as our wee boy and they have to be patient with the little boy as he cant help it he is just trying to express himself . I'm a bit concerned that my wee one will think that it is ok to act like this after our hard work to learn him that it is not .
