My 9 year old grandaughter is non verble and has ADHD and ASD shes also non verble has no help from her school even thoe the spech and langiwge gace the school pictchures for her to point at they have never shown her any they have not offerd her a computor to help her comunicate ither she has melt downs every morning trying to get her to school,my daughter has complained to the school in meetings promisses are made but not kept now im ready to step in i know under the Equaulity ACT 2010 the school has a leagil duty to make resonable ajustments by supplying her with an electronic device so she can comunicate on..they are failing her big time she sometimes has days off school bacause her anxity is through the roof,and my daughter is worrid about getting a fine i told her let them send a letter and ill be at the next meeting with that fine and ill bring them crashing down,my daughter also has ASD and anxity so im there for both if them but im needing some advice please on what i can do to get the school to help my 9 year old grandaughter as im realy worrid she wont cope much longer in that school its a main streem school with a SEND depertment she realy needs a special needs school were she can get the help she needs ive even told my daughter to de register her and ill home school her if needs be but that is the last result so any advice is much appriciated thankyou in advance
