My Son is nine and has ASC. We were invited to my in laws for a Christmas Eve gathering, we rarely see them and we haven’t been to their house in years. My Son doesn’t want to go. Should we not go or is this not helping my Son? We’ve had similar situations before..We also have the problem of him needing to know what’s in each room in the house, including any wrapped presents, which I’m not sure my in laws will understand that’s it’s anxiety about the unknown.
