Help with social services

Hey so for legal reasons I can’t say everything I want to due to still being in court but the overall is my husband is diagnosed autistic and I’m told I am highly likely to be one thing social worker was trying to say is we have relationship issues we since had a assessment with someone who specialises in autism and they said no we just communicate differently from what’s considered normal but it works for us she not said we perfect but you get the point anyway I’m looking for help as they want to adopt our baby out saying we can’t do what we need in baby timeframe yet we not even being told exactly what that is either but our argument is we not even being given a chance and that’s all we are asking we are told we don’t have support yet we do so I’m looking for outside support basically anything and everything so they can’t say we need anything so please any advice would be great

  • Hello there, first up I'm afraid we cannot offer legal advice as it is striclty against the rules here.

I'm afraid I can't work out quite what it is you are asking - it sounds like social services are trying to take your baby but you don't want them to. Is this the case?

If this is the case then a lawyer who works in this field would be your best option - they will know the procedures involved and can advise you on what to expect, how to improve your situation and where to get other support that you may need.
