I get the feeling that it should be the SENCO having these meetings with you and the teacher - this is their job after all. This is the venue for you to bring up the concerns over discrimination. I would try to have another independent person present as a witness as well if you can.
I would also ask to record the conversation as this will keep them focussed on meeting their legal obligations not to discriminate so you are more likely to get a positive outcome.
