My nephew (16M) is on the spectrum and has a hard time making friends. I am trying to find some people locally but I don't know what resources exist or how to go about doing it. I thought about looking on local subreddits but I'm worried about attracting weirdos and creeps. I'm also open to finding him online friends but again, worried about creeps.
Does anyone have any advice? I would be incredibly grateful.
