Would appreciate any recommendations for any assistance or support people have gotten for their kids in respect of emotional regulation. Im at a loss what to do. My 4 year old is on pathway to assessment through right to choose but we have been told assessment still could be 12-18 months. He is at nursery and nearly every day im told he is disregulated, quick to temper and hitting and kicking out at teachers and classmates when he isn't happy about something. I tried talking to him but i just dont feel equipped to help him. He starts school in September and I want him to have a good start. Im scared he will have no friends and struggle if he continues like this. Its really worrying me. I dont even know if he would get any support on NHS if diagnosed but I dont feel like I can wait that long anyways.
