We are currently looking for parents of children aged 5–7 on the autistic spectrum to take part in a research study exploring how personalised stories—created in collaboration with parents, an author, and AI tools—might better engage children and support more inclusive approaches to storytelling. Participants will be invited to meet with the researcher online (via Teams/Zoom or email, depending on your preference) to share your child’s interests and reading preferences. Based on this, a series of short, personalised books will be written and shared with you for feedback.
The study is led by Abbey Woolgar, a doctoral researcher at Bournemouth University with a personal and professional interest in storytelling, autism, and inclusive creative practice.
